Watch the following videos. Pay attention to the vocabulary and how it relates to the story and to Evita and Juan Peron in particular. Below the videos you will find instructions to answer questions based on the videos.

Proyecto:

Había Una Vez

Tú y tus amigas prometieron cuidar a los hijos de tus vecinos durante toda la tarde hasta después de la cena. Tus vecinos no hablan bien el inglés y prefieren que tú te comuniques con sus hijos en español. Ustedes deciden que una Buena forma de entretener a los niños es hacer un show de marionetas basado en un cuento infantil.

Escribe un cuento y crea un show de marionetas siguiendo las siguientes reglas:

v  Debes escribir un cuento infantil usando el pretérito y el imperfecto.  Debes usa todos los usos del imperfecto.

v  Puedes escribir un cuento original o reescribir un cuento clásico.

v  El cuento debe tener alrededor de doscientas cincuenta palabras.

v  El cuento debe ser escrito en la computadora.

v  Trae una fotocopia del cuento el día de entrega.

v  Usando el cuento crea un show de marionetas en un iPad usando PuppetPalsHD (disponible en las iPads que están en la biblioteca)

v  El cuento debe durar por lo menos tres minutos.

Una vez terminado, debes descargar tu trabajo a la cuenta de youtube de la clase (ver detalles arriba)

We are going to work on a performance task

You & your friend have promised your next-door neighbor that you will take care of her children this afternoon from the time they get off the school bus until she gets home after a dinner meeting.  [Your neighbor, who speaks virtually no English, knows that you are good Spanish students and prefers that you communicate with her family only in Spanish.] She informs you that in their kindergarten & first grade classes her children have been learning about daily routines & hygiene. She then suggests that you think of an activity that is fun but incorporates these two ideas. Fortunately, in your Spanish II class, you have recently become an expert in using reflexive verbs and are very confident in your abilities. You both decide that a puppet show would be a fun & educational way to entertain the children. When you finish your puppet show creation, you should e-mail the finished video to Sr. Laspiur at elaspiur@mercyjaguars.com because it is simply amazing!

Your puppet show should…

 …incorporate both reflexive verbs & clothing vocabulary

       …be NO shorter than 1½ minutes.
      …have at least one character per group member.

      …tell a story

      …be created using the PuppetPalsHD App on the iPad(s) available in the library.

   This assignment will be due on October 26.
